Worc. Co. students ‘Shop with a Cop’

On Saturday, twenty elementary students from Worcester County got help with their holiday shopping from a unique shopping buddy. Maryland State Troopers from the Berlin Barrack were paired with students from Worcester County to 'Shop with a Cop'.

"We meet up at the barrack, we give a tour of the barrack, a show and tell with the police cars and then we come here to Walmart," says Corporal Marlin Meyers, the organizer of the event.

Cpl. Meyers tells 47 ABC every child was given $100 to spend on whatever they wanted, and with the help of their personal shopping buddies the children filled up their carts.
