UPDATE: Name of victim in Dover death investigation released
Members of the Delaware State Police have released the name of a man who was found dead in the backyard of a Dover home on Tuesday.
According to the release, the victim found behind a home on Aspen Drive has been identified as Tyler Parton, 24, of Dover. An autopsy conducted on Tuesday by the Delaware Division of Forensic Science has ruled the death a homicide by a gunshot wound.
DSP Homicide Unit detectives say they are continuing their investigation into this incident, and more details will be released as soon as they become available.
No suspect information has been developed at this time.
