UPDATE: Man arrested in connection with Princess Anne attempted murder has been charged

Members of the Princess Anne Police Department say that a Baltimore man who attacked a woman and her two kids in Princess Anne on Tuesday morning has been charged.
According to the release, police got a call around 3AM on Tuesday morning from a concerned citizen in relation to an assault at a townhouse on Pine Knoll Drive.
The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Sharef Dontre Hayward of Baltimore, was reported to have severely assaulted a victim and her two children with a hammer. After further investigation, officials learned that the victim had a protective order against Hayward.
When officers arrived at the home, they found the victims, who have now been identified as Airealle Sells, 25, years of age, of Princess Anne, Maryland, Sell's eight year old daughter, and her 4-year-old son. Police say they were transferred to hospitals in Baltimore, and are still listed in critical condition at this time.
Hayward was reported to have been found about an hour and a half after the incident.
According to the release, Hayward is being charged with the following: three counts of attempted murder 1st degree, 3 counts of attempted murder 2nd degree, 3 counts of assault 1st degree, 3 counts of assault 2nd degree, 3 counts of reckless endangerment, and violation of a protective order.
He was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued no bond, and was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.
