UPDATE: Hartly man pleads guilty to burglary charges

A man charged in connection with several burglaries that happened in Delaware Amish communities pleaded guilty and was sentenced on Tuesday morning in Kent County.

According to Delaware Department of Justice officials, Harvey Coblentz of Hartly, pleaded guilty to two counts of third degree burglary. He was then sentenced to time served along with one year of probation and restitution.

Coblentz along with his girlfriend Peggy Wright, were arrested after they burglarized over 20 structures in Hartly, Marydel and West Dover, taking lawn and garden equipment, power tools, chainsaws, pressure washers, and cash.
