UPDATE: Assault suspect released on bond

A woman who allegedly fired a shot at her boyfriend has been released on bond in Wicomico County.

According to court documents, 48-year-old Jean Nauman of Salisbury, has waived her right to an attorney. She has also been released on $2,500 bond. Nauman was arrested on Christmas after allegedly firing a shot in the direction of her boyfriend.

Nauman claims she fired at him in order to get him out of her house. She also alleges that he struck her in the head.

Nauman has been charged with first and second degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
