Trappe man arrested in connection with Easton armed robbery

Police say a man has been arrested on robbery, assault and gun charges in Easton.
According to Easton Police, last Sunday, officers served an arrested warrant on 19-year-old Rahkeem Beck of Trappe. The warrant charges Beck with armed robbery, robbery, first and second degree assault, and handgun on person. Beck was taken before a Talbot County District Court Commissioner where he was held on no bond at the Talbot County Detention Center.
Police say last Friday around 1:18PM, officers were called to Sunoco in reference to a robbery in progress. As officers arrived, Beck reportedly jumped on a dirt bike and sped off. A pursuit ensued throughout Easton and Talbot County and Beck was not able to be apprehended. Police say further investigation revealed that three people met with Beck to purchase two dirt bikes that had been stolen from them. After getting the dirt bike, they reportedly stopped at Sunoco because they saw that Beck reportedly had a gun. Once they were at Sunoco, they called for help, and when officers responded, that was when Beck was on the dirt bike and he allegedly fled the area
