The Lady Warriors Dominate the Crabbers on the Road

The Pocomoke girls basketball team improved to 2-3 tonight as they defeated the Crisfield Crabbers 44-38. The loss drops the Crabbers 2-4 on the season.
As the Lady Warriors traveled to Crisfield, they looked to get their second win of the season under first year coach Corey Zimmer. It was close all four quarters but the Warriors lead the whole game. Pocomoke's Sophmore Piajah Johnson led her team with 20 points against the Crabbers. The Warriors led 20-16 going into halftime but the Crabbers looked to change that. Crisfield's Laney Pruitt had a team high 15 points and 4 in the four in the second half, but it just wasn't enough as the Warriors defeated the Crabbers 44-38.
The Lady Warriors will look to extend their win streak to two on Wednsday the 21st as they travel to Washington high to take on the Jaguars. The Crabbers will try to get back on track as they take on the Kent County Trojans on Wednsday December 21st
