Smullen Helps Clippers Win Big Over Snow Hill

The Bennett girls basketball team picked up a nice win Wednesday night when they defeated Snow Hill 55-21. The win improves the Clippers to 4-1, while the loss drops the Eagles to 2-4.

The Clippers came out attacking the basket and this led to putting the Eagles in foul trouble and also getting them to the line. The Clippers took advantage of their foul shots and also when the Eagles started to decrease the intensity of their defense Bennett capitalized big. The Eagles came out slow and it hurt them big, but they got things going after a while, but once the Clippers got going, they couldn't be stopped. Olivia Owens for the Clippers was having an amazing night as she was showing off her court vision and also her ability to finish. Bennett went on to make a statement win over Snow Hill.
