Robbery of Flor de Mexico in Seaford under investigation

Members of the Delaware State Police say they are investigating a robbery of a Seaford store that happened early on Thursday night.
According to the report, the incident happened around 7PM as a man, armed with an unknown type of handgun, went into Flor De Mexico on Middleford Road. Officials say that the suspect went up to a female clerk who was standing behind the counter, and demanded cash. The woman told officials that she complied and gave the suspect money, and he then ran out of the store. The woman was not reported to have been injured in the incident.
The suspect was described in the report as a man, 6’00”-6’02” tall, 180-200 lbs., wearing all dark colored clothing, and armed with an unknown type handgun.
