Rams Drop One Big To Bears

The Oakdale Bears defeat the Parkside Rams by a score of 66 to 16.

The Rams had a tough match up facing up against Oakdale, who happens to be one of the better teams in Maryland. Oakdale came out with a high motor and it paid off early. They took a big lead in the first quarter and they weren't cutting the Rams any slack. Parkside was doing what they could as Kimani Smith was doing everything she could down low to try to keep the Rams in the game. Oakdale came out the second quarter and didn't lose a step and just increased their lead by even more. At the end of the half, Oakdale had a commanding lead over Parkside. The Rams weren't going down that easily as they came out the second half and had a little run of their own. This run wouldn't last as long as they had liked as they couldn't quite catch up to the Bears.

The Rams will return to action on December 30th at Bennett High School.
