Quick-thinking Smyrna student performs CPR on child

A Smyrna High School student performed CPR on a 18-month-old child at a Dover Chick-Fil-A on Monday.
The 18-month-old girl stopped breathing in the restaurant around 11:45 AM. While other patrons called 911, Smyrna student Theresa'lyn Outten began performing CPR.
Theresa'lyn continued CPR until emergency medical technicians arrived and transported the girl to Kent General Hospital.
Medical professionals say the girl recovered.
Theresa'lyn credits Mrs. Amie Campanicki's Allied Health training class at Smyrna High School with teaching the necessary steps to cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
