One More Rep gives helpful tips how to burn those holiday carbs

After the holidays, there could be some who feel a little bit of guilt over food choices.

47 ABC spoke to One More Rep Gym in Salisbury as they gave us some tips on how to get back into the groove of things.

They tell 47 ABC that many of us consume carbs during the holidays.

The next day after a holiday would be a great day to go back to your normal eating regimen and to take in more protein.

Drinking lots of water is also important, but don't go overboard at the gym right away.

They suggest for people to go back into their normal workout routine slowly in order to prevent injuries.

An overall body workout is recommended with one or two exercises on each body part, including a low impact cardio.

If you would like to start doing new workouts or even want to get back to the gym as a new year resolution, they recommend you to get with a professional and let someone guide you though that as you start.

JD Cherry, the owner and head trainer says every body type is different.

But having a trainer will allow them to analyze your body and give you the proper workout design made just for you.
