New business possibilities at the Salisbury Regional Airport

In Salisbury, the city has announced an expansion to the Salisbury Regional Airport. They're adding 1,000 acres to the already existing roughly 4,200 acre zone.
Although, the biggest thing to come from this is the fact that the land surrounding the airport is now a part of the enterprise zone.
Robert Bryant, airport manager, says now that they are recognized in the enterprise zone, they can finally start bringing in new businesses in the aerospace and aviation industry.
It's thanks to tax incentives, something he says he wishes was done 20 years ago.
Bryant adds the airport is one of the most underutilized facilities in Wicomico County, but this is the step in right direction.
He explains, "There are endless possibilities at the airport and you have to put together a team who can collectively work for the goal of being able to put together the necessary projects and presentations and then go out and actually recruit that type of economic development."
Although Bryant is due to retire Friday, so he will not be the manager to oversee this exciting time, he says he's confident and excited for the airport's potential.
