Milford boutique looks to keep one Christmas tradition alive

One store in Milford is looking keep a Christmas tradition alive, that’s mailing letters to Santa.
Peggy Reilly, a partner at the Sugar Bee Boutique, started this project last year. She placed this mailbox inside the boutique to encourage children and locals to write and mail their Christmas wishes to Santa. Reilly tells 47 ABC, last year she got over 140 letters inside the mailbox and this year folks are already dropping their letters off.
“We decided to bring in a mailbox into the store because we wanted nostalgia for the children of Milford and for people outside of Milford to be able to come in bring their children, drop off their letter and receive a letter back from Santa Claus,” says Reilly.
Reilly tells 47 ABC folks have until December 10th to drop their letters off and have a guaranteed response from Santa.
