Local fire company collecting toys for Princess Anne family

A tragedy this week in Princess Anne is bringing a community together for a good cause.
The Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Company is collecting toys for the two children of a family that were left in critical condition after being attacked on Tuesday.
The Princess Anne Fire Chief tells 47 ABC he was one of the first people that responded to this incident. Since folks heard about the incident, the chief says community members have been dropping off toy donations around the clock.
"When you happen to walk into a scene so horrific that honestly was movie related. And it hit home so hard. Our hearts went out. We knew we had to do something more than what we had done that night," says Chief Rondell Redding, from the Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Company.
The Princess Anne Volunteer Fire company tell us they are still accepting toy donations and plan to deliver them on Dec. 23rd.
