Laurel Uses 4th Quarter Comeback For Win Over Worcester Prep

Laurel boys basketball waited until the 4th quarter before finally making their push as they were able to top Worcester Prep 38-37. The win improves the Bulldogs to 1-0, while the loss drops the Mallards to 1-1.
Worcester Prep would be in control of the game early on. Tucker Brown was able to connect on a couple long jumpers, while Owen Nally was running the point with ease all night. If the senior didn’t score once getting into the lane himself, he was able to dump it off for easy baskets for his teammates. The Mallards would own a 4 point leas going into the 4th, but that’s when Laurel would make their move. Eric Pilot would start to get a couple baskets, before Brando Faulk would bring it home.
Worcester Prep returns to action on Saturday when they take on Indian River, while Laurel will face Delmarva Christian on Saturday.
