Hawks catch first win of the season

The Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks avoided their first 0-8 start since 2013 on Monday night, defeating Central Penn 87-74 at the William P. Hytche Athletic Center.
Ryan Andino knocked down 6 three-pointers and finished with a team-high 20 points on the night. Logan MacIntosh finished with 16, while Bakari Copeland and Thomas Rivera finished with 13 each.
The Hawks take back to the road for a 6-game road trip beginning on Wednesday when they take on Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Their next home game is on January 2nd, 2017 when they host Valley Forge.
