‘Hatchimals’ craze hits Delmarva

Perhaps the hottest toy of the year, Hatchimals, has also been the hardest toy to find this holiday season.

Nationwide, stores have been sold out of the egg-hatching animal toy from as early as Black Friday, like the Walmart in Salisbury and they're not planning on a new shipment any time soon.

It's such a sought after toy that the Toys R Us in Salisbury sold out in 20 minutes right after the store opened and the lines were apparently out the door at the Dover Toys R Us, as well.

The demand is so high that on some sites they're being sold online for triple its original price.

Although, to many kids dismay, the company says there may not be another shipment until January.
