HALO ministries in Salisbury is hosting a weekend full of holiday cheer for guests

HALO ministries in Salisbury is hosting a weekend full of holiday cheer for their guests.

Starting Friday, a group of carolers came in to sing for those enjoying their holiday lunch. Friday night, 35 volunteers will be serving Christmas dinner.

Also, Salisbury School created individual lunch bags with special items inside, including personalized messages drawn on the bags.

HALO tells 47 ABC that these lunch bags are important to hand out because they may not have as much help serving this weekend during lunch hours.

On Christmas, there will be a big Christmas dinner and they invite anyone that is hungry to join.

Over the weekend about 125 volunteers will come through the shelter and café to help out and folks at HALO says they are extremely thankful for all the support.

And if you would like to donate , a couple of things they need is coffee and tomato paste.
