Gun discharged during Chincoteague domestic dispute
The Chincoteague Police Department says they arrested a man Thursday night after he fired a gun during a fight with his wife.
A woman called the Eastern Shore of Virginia 911 Center at around 11 PM Thursday reporting a domestic dispute between her and her husband.
Chincoteague Police arrived to find the husband intoxicated. They arrested the man and charged him with reckless discharge of a firearm.
Police say they had him evaluated at Shore Memorial Hospital and transferred him to the Acomack County Jail with no bond.
