Gold alert issued for missing Ocean View woman

Police say that they are issuing a gold alert for an Ocean View woman.

According to Delaware State Police, troopers are looking for 77-year-old Frances Ann Brown of Ocean View who has not been see on heard from since around 6:30 PM on Friday night after she left Beebe Hospital in Ocean View.

Police say that there is a concern for Brown's welfare since troopers have not been able to make contact with her and attempts to locate her have been unsuccessful.

Brown is described as being being 5'02" tall, weighing approximately 120 lbs., with white hair and brown eyes. Police say she was last seen wearing a red sweater with unknown color pants.

Anyone with information on where Brown may be, they are asked to call Troop 7 at 302-644-5020. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers, calling 1-800-TIP-3333, visiting their website or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword "DSP."
