Fruitland Community Center received a $2,000 donation from the city of Fruitland

The Fruitland Community Center received a $2,000 donation from the city of Fruitland.

The center had their Christmas program as children sang carols and the center gave away gifts to children in need.

But the best gift of all was given to the center.

The $2,000 was presented to 97-year-old director Mary Gladys Jones, which will lead to one less payment for this non-profit organization.

All of the money will go to the heat and air conditioning costs.

The building is used for multiple things, such as girl scouts, boy scouts, an after school program, a STEM program, and 4-H programs.

They are hoping this big boost can help bring forward more donations for all the children. involved in these activities.
