Fatal early morning crash in Girdletree

Police and fire officials responded early this morning to a fatal single car crash on Onley Road in Girdletree.

The Worcester County Sheriff's Office says Anthony Arsenault Jr., 37, of Pocomoke was pronounced dead on the scene at around 2:30 AM when his car ran off the road and rolled over.

The passenger, 28-year-old Amy Lynn Liddle of Pocomoke, was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Police say they believe the crash was speed and alcohol related.
