Dunbar Bests Dover 39-34

The Dover Senators lost to the Dunbar Owls in their first game of the Governor's Challenge today, 39-34.

Dunbar got off to a 15-8 start in the first quarter. The Owls out-shot the Senators 32% to 31.3% in the first half. Shyhee McDowell had 12 points and six rebounds to lead Dover's offense. Jhalil Mosley and Jordan Magee added six apiece for the Senators. Dashawn Phillip had twelve points and 13 assists for the Owls. Dover forced 18 turnovers while Dunbar forced 15.
