Dover PD investigating early morning gunfire incident

Members of the Dover Police Department say that a home and car were hit with gunfire early on Monday morning.

According to the report, on Ann Avenue around 12:10AM, several shots were fired and hit a home at least eight times and a car twice. Officers say that the home was occupied by a man and his son at the time, however neither were injured as a result of the gunfire.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
