Community shows their creative side at family mural night

In Frankford, families had a blast show casing their creative sides as they helped George Washington Carver Academy's paint their newest mural project.
More than 50 people helped out on it all to help promote Carver Academy's new curriculum, Positive Action.
Their motto: "We feel good about ourselves when we think positive thoughts and do positive actions".
This mural project was funded by a $2,500 grant from the Next Generation of Southern Delaware. The kids also had some help from a professional artist, well known in the community, John Donato.
We're told the project lasts for the rest of the school year.
