Cape Henlopen holds off rival Sussex Tech

The Cape Henlopen Boys basketball team went on a 10-0 run to close the first half, and that stood as the difference in the end as the Vikings topped the Ravens 65-54 on Friday night.

Randy Rickards finished with 16 points in the game for Cape, 12 of them coming in the second half. Ian Robertson chipped in with 15 points. For Tech, Pa'Trek Dennis and Ja'Ron Hunt-Fletcher finished with 14 points a piece in the loss.

Cape begins their holiday schedule where they will play host in the Slam Dunk at the Beach tournament, while Sussex Tech travels to Hodgson Vo-Tech Saturday afternoon.
