Caesar Rodney Beats Dover in Season Opener

The Caesar Rodney boys beat Dover in their season opener at home, 55-51. The Riders are now 1-0 while the Senators are off to a 0-1 start.

The rivals were neck-and-neck through the fourth quarter, and both teams swapped leads throughout the final five minutes. Dover made it a close game with :59 seconds remaining, with a Eden Davis layup. Jaquan Hooks was fouled with .1 remaining in the game, making one of his two free throws. Hooks led the Riders offense with his 19 points on the night.
