3 arrested and 1 wanted in connection to Oct. armed robbery

Members of the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office say that they have arrested three people and are searching for one more after conducting search warrants in connection to an October home invasion-armed robbery.

According to the report, on October 28 around 11PM, WCSO officers responded to the 700-block of Dennis Street in Salisbury for reports of a home invasion-robbery. The victim told officers that he was home alone when the suspects forced entry while armed. The suspects allegedly then beat the victim, stole items from the home, and then ran away.

The victim was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for his injuries while the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division responded to the home and took over the investigation.

On November 29, detectives say they were able to identify all four suspects involved in the home invasion-robbery as follows:

  • Eric Anthony Lemon, 21
  • Diante Maurice Purnell, 28
  • Dominic Keith Chandler, 26
  • Jamal Marcus Church, 25

On November 30, 2016 CID detectives reported that with the help of the Wicomico County Sheriff's Emergency Response Team and the Salisbury Police Tactical Team, executed four search warrants at the following locations:

  • 700- Block of Richmond Avenue, Salisbury, Maryland
  • 600-Block of Morris Street, Salisbury, Maryland
  • 700-Block of Dennis Street, Salisbury, Maryland
  • 900-Block of East Road, Salisbury, Maryland

 
According to officials, Lemon, Purnell, and Chandler were found and arrested during the execution the search and seizure warrants, and three firearms were seized during the search of the homes.

Lemon, Purnell and Chandler were charged with home invasion, burglary, conspiracy-home invasion, assault 1st degree, assault 2nd degree, armed robbery, robbery, burglary 1st degree, burglary 3rd degree, burglary 4th degree, handgun on person, reckless endangerment, false imprisonment, theft less $1,000, malicious destruction of property, and they are being held without bond at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
