Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office participating in No-Shave November

For the month of November, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office will be participating for the first time in a fundraiser called No-Shave November.
No-Shave November is dedicated to raising cancer awareness by having participants not shave for an entire month.
With a donation, male participants are able to grow out their facial hair and will be exempt from normal facial hair Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office guidelines.
The facial hair must be neatly trimmed for the entire month. We are also told that no one can dye or color their beard or mustache. It must be natural.
And females are also able to participate by wearing a blue ribbon or blue streak in their hair.
Sheriff Mike Lewis says he is excited to give back to the community.
Those participating must return to normal grooming policies on December 1st. At the end of the month, they will donate all the money raised to the American Cancer Society in Salisbury.
