Voter turnout “steady” across Delmarva

The polls have been active all across Delmarva on Tuesday.

47ABC reached out to numerous election boards across Delmarva. In Maryland, each election board 47ABC spoke to described the amount of voters as steady. For Wicomico County, as of 10AM, there had been 7,500 people coming out. On the mid shore, it was close to that number between Caroline and Dorchester Counties, and in Worcester County, there had been just over 5,500 people hitting the polls.

In Talbot county, officials say as of noon, the voter turnout numbers are 3,305. In Somerset, officials said they did not have numbers quite yet. All of the Maryland election boards tell us that they will have updated numbers on Tuesday at 4PM.

In Delaware, election officials tell 47ABC that as of 1PM, voter turnout in Sussex County was over 45,000, and turnout in Kent County was 34,862 people across 87 polling places.
