Victim shot at during Selbyville burglary

Troopers in Delaware say they are investigating a burglary at a home in Selbyville Sunday, in which shots were fired at the homeowner.
According to Delaware State Police the incident happened around 2:20 AM, as a male suspect entered a home on the 32000 block of Sanbru Lane. The suspect then reportedly removed a pair of guns from a room inside of the house. Then reportedly found a third gun from inside of a table drawer. Officials say as this was happening, a 67-year-old man who was asleep in the home woke up and confronted the suspect chasing him out of the house. As the suspect was fleeing, he reportedly fired two shots towards the homeowner, causing the victim to retreat back into his house. Reports say the suspect then fled in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
State Troopers report, a search of the recovered two of the three guns, ammunition, and numerous coins which had been dropped by the suspect as he fled the area. No suspect description has been provided.
