UPDATE: Victim identified after fatal hit and run in Worcester Co.

Investigators from the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack say they were able to identify the victim in a fatal hit and run in Worcester County.
On November 11 around noon, police got a 9-1-1 call from a driver who had stopped to look at what he originally thought was a dead deer lying in a grassy ravine between Maryland Route 707 and Route 50 in Worcester County. When he realized it was a body, the driver immediately called state police at the Berlin Barrack.
Troopers say they were able to respond quickly, and started a death investigation. According to the report, due to the physical evidence and debris left at the scene, police believed injuries to the victim were the result of a hit and run crash.
The victim has been identified by officials as Carlos Enrique Morales Barrios, 49, of the 200 block of South Philadelphia Avenue in Ocean City. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
