UPDATE: Bond denied for former Salisbury martial arts instructor indicted on sex abuse charges

Bond has reportedly been denied for a former martial arts instructor in Salisbury.

According to the Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office, bail was denied for 26-year-old Zachariah Bennett on Wednesday morning in Wicomico County Circuit Court.

Bennett has been in prison since October for allegedly sexually harassing at least three underage girls.

On Tuesday, bail was set for 21-year-old Leah Wright of Princess Anne at $150,000. Wright allegedly worked as a facilitator with Bennett and served as a lookout for him..

Both Wright and Bennett were indicted on charges last week in Wicomico County.
