On Sunday, members of the Salisbury Police Department say they responded to a Salisbury gas station for a reported armed robbery.

According to the report, around 11:45PM, police responded to the Oceanic Gas Station at 1312 North Salisbury Boulevard and the only man working told police that two armed, masked suspects entered the store and demanded money.

While investigating, officers found out that when entering the store, the suspects were showing handguns and immediately started demanding money. The suspects allegedly walked behind the counter, engaged the victim, and ordered him to lay on the floor. The suspects then reportedly continued to demand money while pointing the handguns at the victim, and the employee gave suspect #1 an un-disclosed amount cash, while suspect #2 began filling a bag with store merchandise and the contents of the cash register.

According to the report, after getting the cash and store merchandise, the suspects ran from the store, but both were captured on store surveillance cameras during the robbery. Officials note that the victim did receive minor injuries as a result of the robbery, but he refused medical attention. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office K-9 assisted in the investigation, and conducted a K-9 track which did not reveal additional evidence.

SUSPECT #1 is described by officials as a man, approximately 6′-00″, 160 pounds, wearing a mask covering his face, dark colored shirt, dark colored pants and in possession of a handgun.
SUSPECT#2 is described by officials as a man, approximately 6′-03″, 170 pounds, wearing a mask covering his face, dark colored shirt, dark colored pants, carrying a large blue bag and in possession of a firearm.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives are requesting anyone with information to contact the Salisbury Police Department 410-548-3113 or Crime Solvers 410-548-1776.
