Suspect(s) wanted in Milton home invasion

Troopers in Delaware say they are looking for the suspect or suspects behind the robbery of a home in Milton, that left one man in serious condition.

According to troopers with the Delaware State Police, on Sunday around 7:30 AM a neighbor saw smoke coming from a home on the 17,000 block of Pettyjohn Road. As the neighbor reportedly responded toward the residence, the homeowner was found outside near the roadway. Investigators say, the victim had been asleep when unknown subjects entered his home and hit him in the head with an unknown object which made him go unconscious. The victim’s home was reportedly fully engulfed in flames when the fire department responded extinguishing it. According to reports, the victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
