Highlights from today's games.

ending to the field hockey season over at su.. no and they’ll admit it. they had a great year, got to the ncaa final four where they fell in the national semifinal. they wish they could’ve obviously won it all, but a great season and it was reflected this afternoon. as four sea gulls were named to the national field hockey coaches association all-region team this afternoon. seniors hannah miller and becca rinaca were named to theall-south region first team, while senior annah brittingham and junior tressie windsor earned second-team honors. miller is a stellar player, who was named the conference’s player of the year earlier this month, she earned her second all-region nod, being picked to the second team last season. rinaca, brittingham, and windsor anchored a defense that allowed just a 0.55 goals-against average- the best mark in the nation. the sea gulls won the program’s 20th cac championship in 2016, posted an 18-2 record, and advanced to the ncaa championship weekend for the 14th time in program history. and while eastern shore is winless..the guys up the highway at salisbury university don’t know what a loss feels like right now..they are 4-0 on the season thus far, off to their best start since….last year when they started 6-0. goes to show you just what kind of program coach andy sachs is building over there..the gulls just knocked off #16 virginia wesleyan on the road last tuesday, and on wednesday they return home for their first conference tilt of the season with st. mary’s. sixers up across the border taking on demar derozan and the raptors. philadelphia trying to take their first lead in the first quarter, pascal siakam sends that one back to the city of brotherly love. sixers would eventually find their groove though, they take the lead here late in the first quarter robert covington sinks a three..check this out, end of the first quarter nik stauskus going for a three, its off, patrick patterson from three-quarters court and it goes. it would be that kind of night for the sixers they give up a bunch of points in a 122-95 loss tonight. and to the nfl tonight where the not so hot eagles hosted the not so hot packers on monday night football..one thing philly had going for them coming in is that they came in undefeated at home.. 4-0 on the season but up against that guy, aaron rodgers coming in still with some of the best numbers in the league. up against the rookie carson wentz looking to stay perfect at home in his career. early on the vet walks his team right up the field, ends it with a 12 yard touchdown to davante adams to give green bay the early lead. eagles respond wentz looking around cant find anyone so he takes it himself for his first career rushing touchdown. hes pumped but rodgers responds with another touchdown pass..his 27th of the year moves him to second this year behind drew brees…this ones another to adams as they took a 14-10 lead into half, packers now lead 17-10 early in the third. that’s it for sports. good news is just ahead- keep it right here — you’re watching 47 abc! catch more of the action on our sports page at 47abc.com hairstyles brought to you by
