Special Halloween delivery made to Anchorage center

Goblins, witches, and mini-monsters were just a few characters marching through Salisbury on Monday morning.
About 180 students from Saint Francis de Sales Catholic School decorated pumpkins and greeting cards on Halloween before delivering them to the Anchorage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
According to school principal Rob Costante, the pumpkins were donated by a local farmer.
Costante says the purpose of this delivery is to teach the students about being selfless.
“In many ways, many kind of think of Halloween as the ”me-time” where I’m getting candy,” he says. “This way we kind of turn it around and we use Halloween as an opportunity to bring joy to others but we’re having fun while we’re doing it.”
