Smyrna vs. William Penn Preview

The Smyrna Eagles look to repeat the William Penn Colonials in the semi-finals, for the second straight year.
The Eagles are 10-0 this season and have won 20 games straight. They are led by Senior quarterback Nolan Henderson and junior running back Will Knight. Henderson finished the regular season with 30 touchdown passes and threw for over 2000 yards. Knight, the reigning Delaware State Offensive Player of the Year,has totaled a state-high 27 touchdowns.
The Eagles are the two seed, while the Colonials are the three seed. Last season, Smyrna defeated William Penn 30-13 last season in the semi-finals. The Colonials entered the game the reigning state champions.
Kickoff is it 7:30 pm at Charles V. Williams Stadium at Smyrna High School.
