Serious hit-and-run reported in Georgetown; woman listed as critical

Members of the Delaware State Police say a woman was airlifted in critical condition following a serious hit-and-run at the County Seat Garden Mobile Home Development.
Troopers say they responded to a call of a woman lying on the road just before 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.
The woman was reportedly administered medical attention and then airlifted to Beebe Healthcare.
At this point, no vehicle description is available. However, police do believe the woman was struck along Oak Street in the area of Garden Circle within the development.
