Salisbury woman arrested on attempted murder charges

A woman has been arrested for reportedly stabbing her niece in Salisbury.
According to court documents on Monday around 3:53PM, Salisbury Police responded to PRMC on Carroll Street for a report of an assault with a knife. When officers arrived, they reportedly contacted PRMC security who said that a victim arrived at PRMC to say that she was stabbed and that she needed help. Court documents show that the girl was stabbed in her head and back by her aunt.
The girl reportedly told officials that she and her aunt, 21-year-old Qahsheerah Sabr of Salisbury, began to fight in the parking lot of Roadie Joe’s on East Carroll Street when Sabr began to punch, hit, kick, pull and drag her niece through the parking lot.
When the victim left, court documents show that she realized that she had been stabbed multiple times by Sabr during the fight. The victim reportedly suffered a head laceration which required seven staples, a neck laceration that required three stitches, and three one inch back cuts that required stitches. Court documents show that the victim was made aware that the cuts were from a knife or sharp instrument.
After the suspect was identified as 21-year-old Qahsheerah Sabr by the victim’s identification, Sabr was arrested on charges of attempted first degree murder, attempted second degree murder, first degree assault, second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and dangerous weapon with intent to injure.
According to court documents, Sabr was arrested on assault charges in April and February of 2016, her preliminary hearing is set for December 8 in Wicomico County.
