Salisbury man arrested following assault allegations

On Sunday evening, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a man following assault allegations.
According to the report, David Robinson, 57, of Salisbury, was arrested after the victim told the deputy that she and Robinson had an argument that turned physical. Robinson allegedly pushed the victim down, causing her to hit her head on pavement.
Robinson was taken to the Central Booking Unit, processed, and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance where he was charged with assault second degree, the Commissioner detained Robinson in the Detention Center in lieu of $20,000 bond.
