Salisbury man arrested again on drug charges, among others

Antoine Tilghman, 26, of Salisbury

On Saturday, a Salisbury man was stopped for a traffic violation that then ended in arrest.

According to the report, around 4:48PM, a deputy stopped Antoine Tilghman, 26, for speeding on Robinson Street. While talking with Tilghman, the deputy noted the smell of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. The deputy then was able to seize a baggie of marijuana that was in plain view, and also found out that Tilghman did not have a license to drive a vehicle.

The deputy placed Tilghman under arrest and took him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance where he was charged with possession of marijuana greater than 10g and driving without a license, the Commissioner detained Tilghman in the Detention Center in lieu of $3,000 bond.
