Queen Anne’s Upset by Elkton, 12-0

The second seeded Queen Anne’s Lions fell to the third seeded Elkton Golden Elks 12-0 tonight. The Lions finish the season 9-2.

Elkton got on the board with a touchdown run by Ray Estep. later in the quarter, Elkton then fumbled the ball and Queen Anne’s Monroe Miley. The Lions were unable to convert on the recovery. Mike Deangelo and the Lions struggled with the passing game. Jaquion Wesson picked off Deangelo later in the quarter.

Elkton will host fourth seeded North Caroline next week in the 2A State Regional final game.
