on the shore.. and we had a lot of good games going on yesterday yeah that’s right now we had the election coverage going on last night so we didn’t have sports in our night shows so there are a bunch of great games from last night we wanted to have a chance to air.. and believe me, its worth it the 1-a east regional boys soccer title was on the line last night in pocomoke, as the warriors faced off against colonel richardson. and the colonels coming out ready to go in this one jeremy roop sends the free kick into the box.. bounces around before dylan wilson gets a foot on it and sends it home pocomoke still down 1 here in the second half cross into the circle yuri larrimore gets a head on it but jake zebron comes up with the great save to keep his team ahead under 15 seconds to play.. and here we go gus enriquez sends the cross in jared hancock settles it and sends it to noah brittingham and are you kiddin me! with 8 seconds to play o-t here we come 5 minutes into the extra session.. enriquez with the cross.. and noah schoolfield with the header to the far post game winner! pandemonium in pocomoke as the wariors take a wild one for teh regional title, 2-1 in o-t “once i saw it go into the net, i was just happy. i don’t even remember what i did after, but its just, its crazy. i’m still hyped about it. he put it up, and i just had to go for it. i saw it go past, go towards the post, and it was just a great feelig to see it go in.” and snow hill was in a regional title showdown of their own last night as they took on patterson mills huskies on the attack early as brooke murphy takes a shot.. but jenna gondal comes up with the great save for the eagles over at the other end.. hannah jones tries to get the home team on the board, but her shot is wide of the far post scoreless at half.. but patterson mill got going in the second half break away for annie wysong…. fires a bullet near post and that finds the back of the net not long after that, and this time off the corner, summer law heads it on frame they would eventually rule that it was a goal and snow hill sees their historic season come to an end.. 4-0 the final and kent island’s boys soccer team was in a regional title of their own as they took on fallston and the bucs dream season came to a close as they suffered a tough, 1-nil loss and queen anne’s was taking on fallston in the regional championship game as well and another tough one for our team as the lions see their season come to an end with a 4-0 loss and cape henlopen’s field hockey team was taking on indian river in the first round vikings on the attack here as annie judge takes a shot, but a great save there from mya parks scoreless at the break, but cape breaks through in the second half jacqueline cannon comes up with the rebound and is able to slam it home i-r then thought they had the answer as madison mcgee’s shot finds the back of the cage.. but it would be disallowed, no-good! then the vikings would put it away mia carulli with the score right there cape advances, 2-0 the final that’s it for sports – more news and weather straight ahead. stay with us. catch more of the action on our sports page at 47abc.com here’s
