MEET TREVOR TAYLOR

Trevor Taylor joined our Team last Thursday as part time Studio Technician. Trevor brings with him a wide array of related technical skills that will serve as a good base as he grows with the industry. These skills include editing, lighting, photography, composition, Photoshop and script writing. His education included the Delaware Tech Communication program and his formal work experience includes filmmaker, videographer and editor. Please join me in welcoming him to our Team.

NOVEMBER SWEEPS

• The November Ratings Period wraps up Wednesday. Thank you all for your hard work and attention to detail as we went through this critical four-week period for broadcasters. The AC Nielsen Company has announced some changes that will take place in their ratings process for 2017 and beyond. As those changes are firmed up for this market, we will share the information.

STATION FREEBIES!

• Congratulations to Daniel Johnson, winner of our Crime Watch Daily Flashlight/Gadget in last week’s drawing. Because it is Thanksgiving week and so many people are off this week, we will hiatus the Station Freebies until the following week.

OUT IN THE COMMUNITY

Last week, Daniel Johnson and Jaisol Martinez visited Mardela High School to give a weather presentation. The students were very interested in how the weather can change so quickly and how tough it can be to forecast sometimes. Mardela students are starting their weather unit soon, so this was a great way to kick it off.
• We will partner with Coastal Hospice for the Angel Appeal again this year starting next Monday and continuing through 30 December. We will have the Angel Tree on Good Morning Delmarva and add the ornaments to the tree daily.
