Man arrested on harassment charges in 2015 pleads guilty and is sentenced in Sussex Co.

Officials say a man arrested on harassment charges in March of 2015 pleaded guilty and was sentenced in Sussex County, on Monday.
According to Delaware Department of Justice officials, Antoine Sturgis pleaded guilty to possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited and aggravated menacing. He was reportedly declared a habitual offender and was sentenced to time served, which was 15 days.
On the aggravated menacing charge, Sturgis was reportedly sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for probation, substance abuse treatment, anger management and no contact with the victim.
Sturgis was arrested last year after police say he and Jessica Renner followed a 42-year-old man into a parking lot on NE Front Street in Milford, and tried to start a fight with him. The man apparently avoided the confrontation, but, police say, the two kept following him, yelling and cursing. Sturgis reportedly tried to throw a punch at the victim, but missed. He also apparently spit on the food that the victim was carrying.
He was later arrested, and charged with harassment, third degree conspiracy, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.
