Local organization participates in Giving Tuesday

November 29th is Giving Tuesday.  In honor of this day, 47 ABC has teamed up with the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore for Shore Gives More, which is a one-stop shop for making donations to your favorite charities.

A spokesperson for the CFES says this year they are partnering up with over 60 local non-profits from Worcester, Wicomico and Somerset county. They also tell 47 ABC they will be covering all PayPal and administrative fee and 100 percent of online donations will go directly to the non-profit of your choice.

“They can select from a variety of different non-profits, there is no minimum donation, there is no maximum donation and this will really help a lot of local non-profits and keep your charitable giving local,” says Victoria Kent, the Marketing Officer for the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.
