Local business sees economic boost from “Small Business Saturday”

This past Saturday many towns and cities across Delmarva participated in ‘Small Business Saturday.’
The purpose of ‘Small Business Saturday’ is to designate a shopping holiday for small companies and help boost the local economy.
One of the businesses who we’re told saw an economic boost was a toy store in Berlin. Olga Kozhenikova, owner of World Of Toys in Berlin tells 47 ABC, “we’ve seen an increase in sales, about 50 percent that tells us how people appreciate the service we provide and product we carry.”
According to Forbes Magazine, there are 28 million American small businesses and they account for 54 percent of all U.S. sales.
