Indian River Boys Soccer State Title Preview

The Indian River boys soccer team is headed back to the state title game for the 5th time in 6 years. But for the Indians, making the title game was expected; it’s what comes next that matters.
The Indians field one of their most talented teams in years with 13 seniors, all of whom have made it this far before. That experience and talent has helped guide IR through a very challenging record to a 13-3 record. River started the year with three goals in mind. Win the South. Earn the Henlopen Title. Win the DII State Championship.
They’ve reached two of those goals.
One to go.
Up next for the Indians is a showdown with a very tough Tower Hill team. IR will be able to lean on a host of their talented seniors such as Johan Cordoba and Mikie Mochiam to provide the leadership on how to win a game of this magnitude.
IR expected to be here and they are.
All that’s left for them to do, is bring another banner to Dagsboro.
